Restorative/Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry aid patients in feeling more accepting of themselves while improving confidence in social settings. Although veneers and crowns address cosmetic issues, they also have structural advantages – this includes improving a smile without invasive or lengthy procedures, protecting existing chips and cracks in the teeth, and preventing the teeth from damage in the future.

White filling:

White filling materials have been used for over 20 years, and many patients prefer white fillings over silver fillings for many reasons. A special light is used to completely set the white filling material making it very hard and durable against normal biting forces. The tooth is shaped and polished for a smooth finish, and so it bites together correctly against the opposing teeth.

Veneers:

Veneers offer a virtually painless way to repair crooked, chipped or misshapen teeth. They can also be used to cover badly stained teeth and to smooth out an uneven smile.

Veneers are made of porcelain and custom- fitted to your teeth. The process of fitting and bonding veneers to your teeth can be completed in as little as two visits.

Crowns:

Crowns are used to cover a tooth that has been repaired through a root canal, has cracked or has a large filling. Crowns offer extra protection to the damaged tooth. They can be made of a range of materials, but porcelain is the most popular because it blends in seamlessly with other teeth.

Bridges

Missing teeth can diminish the appearance of a smile and can cause other teeth to drift out of place. Dental bridges are a commonly used solution for missing teeth. Dental bridges containing replacement teeth are anchored into place by healthy teeth on either side of the bridge. Bridges cannot be removed, but need to be checked for wear during regular dental checkups.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a small titanium or biocompatible metal post inserted into your gums to replace missing teeth. This implant fuses to the bone tissue to become very stable and painless in the patients mouth. Dental implants are the only dental restoration option that preserves and stimulates natural bone. It stimulates bone growth and prevent bone loss. As a functioning replacement root, the implant can support a single crown, or with a few implants could support a bridge or partial/denture.

Whitening:

Teeth whitening is one of the fastest and easiest ways to enhance your smile. We offer a full range of whitening treatments. The effects are long-lasting and can help you brighten a smile dulled by aging, food and drink stains or fluorosis. Only certain kinds of stains respond to whitening, so if your teeth are discoloured because of medication or mouth trauma, whitening may not have an effect. We’ll be happy to help you determine whether whitening is an effective choice for you.
